Audify’s sound and audio effects, explained
Short answer: Audify includes a 10-band equalizer, bass boost, virtualizer, reverb, volume boost up to 300%, gapless playback and speed control. It does not offer crossfade or loudness normalization (both switched off in version 1.192.4), independent pitch control, mono downmix or ReplayGain.

Common questions
Does Audify have crossfade and gapless playback?
Gapless playback, yes: it is always on. Crossfade was removed from the Android app in version 1.192.4 and is not in the current version; the Windows and Mac apps have it.
Can Audify boost volume above the system maximum?
Yes. A volume boost raises output from 100% up to 300% for quiet tracks or low-output headphones. Use higher levels sparingly to avoid distortion.
Does Audify support ReplayGain?
Not on Android. The Android app has no ReplayGain, and its loudness normalization has been switched off since version 1.192.4. The Windows and Mac apps read ReplayGain tags, by track or by album.
