Is Audify Music Player safe?
Yes. Audify is a legitimate app published by Audify Tech Private Limited (Bengaluru, India) since 2018, distributed only through Google Play and the Apple App Store, and scanned by Google Play Protect. It has 100M+ installs, a 4.5★ rating from 1.28M+ reviews, a content rating of "Everyone", requires no account or sign-up, and plays files already stored on your device — your music never has to leave your phone.
Does Audify show ads?
Yes — and we'd rather tell you plainly than have you find out at first launch. The free version of Audify is supported by ads served through third-party ad networks. That's the trade that keeps every feature — equalizer, lyrics, ringtone cutter, video playback — free for 100M+ people.
If you don't want ads, the optional Premium subscription (monthly, yearly, or a one-time Pro Lifetime purchase) removes them entirely. There is no version of Audify that charges you and shows ads.
What about reports of intrusive ads?
Some users have reported intrusive or misleading ad creatives — full-screen ads at bad moments, or ads that imitate system messages. We take these seriously: ads are served by third-party networks, and bad creatives occasionally get through their review. When a specific ad is reported to us, we work with the network to block the creative and, where needed, the advertiser.

Email feedback@audifyplayer.com with a screenshot of the ad and roughly when you saw it. That's usually enough for us to identify and block the creative with the ad network.
What permissions does Audify need — and why?
Music & audio (storage). Audify reads the audio and video files on your device to build your library. This is the core permission every offline player needs.
Notifications. Powers the playback controls in your notification shade and on the lock screen.
Internet. Used for optional features only: fetching lyrics, Chromecast casting, Google Drive backup — and serving ads in the free version. Playback itself is fully offline.
