How to fix missing or wrong album art
Short answer: open the song or album, edit its info, and set the correct cover from a photo — or use Search Online to find the right cover.
How to fix album art in 5 steps
- 1. Open the song’s menu. From the playing screen or a song’s 3-dot menu, choose Edit Tags — this opens the tag editor.
- 2. Edit tags and album art. Fix the title, artist and album fields, and tap the artwork to replace it with an image from your gallery.
- 3. Or search for the cover online. When you change the artwork, choose Search Online instead of Photos: Audify looks the album up and shows covers to pick from.
- 4. Save your changes. Save; the correct art and details are written to the song so they stick.
- 5. Rescan if needed. If a cover still looks stale, trigger a library rescan so Audify refreshes its artwork cache.
Why album art goes missing
Album art and song details come from a file’s metadata tags. Files ripped or downloaded without embedded art — or named things like track01.mp3 — show up blank or wrong in every music player, not just Audify.
Editing the tags fixes it at the source, so the art and title travel with the file everywhere. Search Online just saves you hunting for the right image.

Why is my album art missing?
The song’s file has no embedded artwork or has incorrect tags. Adding the right art in the tag editor resolves it.
Can I fix album art for many songs at once?
Not automatically: you fix songs and albums yourself in the tag editor. For hundreds of messy files, a desktop tag editor such as Mp3tag can fix them in batches before you copy them back to the phone.
The art is still wrong after editing — what now?
Trigger a library rescan so the artwork cache refreshes. If it persists, replace the cover manually from your gallery in the tag editor.
